The Middle Tennessee
Council. Boy Scout of
America has available a
specially designed
Council Patch for Cub
Scouts and Cub Scout
adult leaders who might
meet the following
guidelines:
For a Cub Scout to
Qualify:
Cub Scouts must attend
75% of their Cub Pack's
meetings with an adult.
Cub Scouts must
participate in 2
community service
projects during the
year.
Cub Scouts must
participate in at least
1
Den/Pack/District/Council
summertime activity.
Cub Scouts must advance
at least one rank during
the year.
For a Cub Scout Adult to
Qualify:
Adults must attend 50%
of their Districts
Roundtables per year.
Adults must participate
in 2 community service
projects with their Cub
Packs.
Adults must participate
in at least 1
Pack/District/Council
summertime activity.
Adults must participate
in at least 1 Council
Advanced Training
Course. i.e. Day Camp
Fast Start Training, Cub
Leaders How Wow, Train
the Trainer, Den Leader
Coach Seminar, Webelo's
Leader Outdoor
Experience, or Cub
Leaders Pow Wow.
National Quality Unit
Award:
Each Cub Scout Pack must
achieve six of 10
requirements set by the
Council each year to
qualify for the award.
One of the six required
is outdoor activities.
To meet this requirement
the pack is to
participate in one or
more of the following
experiences: Cub Scout
day camp, resident
camping, family camping,
Webelos den overnighter,
and/or other activities
conducted and/or
approved by the local
council.
