2008 Duck River District Pinewood Derby Schedule 

The Duck River District Pinewood Derby will be held Saturday, March 15^th at the Army National Guard Armory, 800 South James Campbell Blvd. at Industrial Park Road in Columbia.  Please be as early as possible for registration.  The registration will end promptly at 11:00 a.m., even if a line exists!  One of our cub scout packs will provide concessions for the event and would appreciate your patronage.

 

 The schedule is as follows:

 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.  Registration, and weigh-in and car inspections.

11:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.  Best of Show (Design) Judging.

12:00 noon - Races begin for all divisions.

 

 Eligible racers and best-of-show (design) participants will be the following from each pack:

 

·        1^st and 2^nd Place Finishers from Pack’s Tiger Cubs in Speed and Design

·        1^st and 2^nd Place Finishers from Pack’s Cub Scouts (Wolfs & Bears) in Speed and Design

·        1^st and 2^nd Place Finishers from Pack’s Webelos in Speed and Design

 

Please note that due to insurance and liability issues only boys from Packs with charter or recharter papers on file in the Scout Service Center as of Friday March 14^th will be eligible to participate.
